It climbs the western slopes of an ancient volcano whose name the vineyard bears. The cooler climate and deep, gravelly soils derived from volcanic rock and ash of the ancient volcano whose name the vineyard now bears, provide depth and structure to Silverado Vineyards’ wines

Tasting Notes

The 2022 Henry Cabernet Sauvignon is an exquisite representation of the varietal and its reputable growing region. The western-facing hillside vineyard where Henry is grown imparts powerful, concentrated aromas, color, and flavors into the wine. Dark fruit, bold tannin, and perfectly balanced acidity make this wine an excellent choice for a steak dinner topped with rich blue cheese butter.
