Silverado Vineyards’ steep, shale soils and western exposures to the late afternoon sun come together to produce fruit with the character and structure for which the Stags Leap District came to be known. The vineyard produces Cabernet with excellent acid structure and fine-grained tannin, all classic characteristics of wines from the region.

Tasting Notes

Pronounced aromas of red cherry, raspberry bramble, pomegranate, and marzipan introduce this exquisite wine. Graceful tannins give structured body and grip to the layers of integrated dark chocolate covered cherry, caramel, tobacco, and mocha flavors. Decant in its youth or cellar for many years to come.
